CogSmart is bringing the outcome of neuroscience research at the Institute of Development Aging and Cancer (IDAC), Tohoku University to society.Our goal is to create a society where everyone can maintain a "lifelong healthy brain."
Message
CogSmart Co., Ltd. is an innovative medical and healthcare spin-off from the IDAC, Tohoku University.
Based on the latest medical knowledge and research results, we are aiming to increase the social dissemination for the concepts of "building healthy dementia-free brains" and "lifelong healthy brains". Specifically, we aim to realize "decrease in dementia incidence," "extension of healthy life expectancy (HALE) in the coming super-aged society," "lowering of medical, long-term care, and social costs."
In addition, all the members are working with passion and have feelings such as "I want to prevent as many people as possible from suffering from dementia, " "I want to keep society healthy even for the next generation" and "I want to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.".
